My story
Building out my concept was scary, small, and provided me nothing other than the greatest satisfaction of pursuing my passion.
It was a small pop up inside of a dress shop in November 2019. I took graphic design clients in between making coffee, I made all my pastries at home, I hardly slept. But I did it.
Through a winding path, and with the help of my village, I secured my very own retail space. Opening the brick and mortar doors of Keeper Coffee felt like an actual dream… without any sleep… for about two years!
The journey from then to now, growing Keeper into a 2 location, 50+ employee, living and growing concept has proved to me that
success is for everyone.
Sometimes we just don’t have the tools or the confidence to do it.
I’ve got you. Truly. I promise if you’ve got the passion there is a way to see your dreams through.
I’m here to just shine a little light on all that hidden success inside of you.
2017. New mom. Zero dollars Zero cents. I just lost my full time stay at home gig and honestly all I really wanted to do was make people coffee.
It’s the best crossroads - do I get the job that pays, keeps me at home, keeps the lights on? Do I take the leap, work my ass off, and show my new baby her moms got some real heart.
I chose the latter and never looked back.
March 2020 came fast and after finally buidling out this tiny business I was faced with a whole new set of challenges.
I did not give up. I almost did…. but I pressed in. A friend and I drove to every corner of Portland and beyond to get coffee and pastries into people’s hands.
This was the turning point.
People knew Keeper Coffee and my brand solidified itself as a joyful service to the community when we needed it most.
